A full hearing test in children is usually possible from around 5 years of age. However, for younger patients we can perform tympanometry, which does not require the child’s cooperation and still provides valuable diagnostic information. This test allows us to assess, for example, the pressure in the ears or rule out the presence of fluid in the middle ear.

Yes, definitely. Although OTO CENTRUM only provides private consultations, it is your right as a patient to receive such an application. During a single visit, we will perform an otoscopic examination, clean the ears if needed, conduct a full hearing test, and if the necessary criteria are met, we will immediately issue an NFZ application for hearing aid reimbursement, along with further instructions.
